Project Overview
Common Room needed a brand identity that represented collaboration without feeling corporate or impersonal. The goal was to create a visual language that felt inclusive, approachable and modern, while remaining structured enough to work across signage, print and digital environments.
The identity was designed to appeal to a broad creative audience, balancing warmth and professionalism to reflect the shared nature of the space.
Brand Elements
At the centre of the identity is a circular logo mark formed from individual figures coming together to create a unified focal point. Each element represents a member of the community, reinforcing the idea that Common Room is built on collective effort rather than individual isolation.
A flexible logo system was created to ensure consistency across applications, supported by a colour palette that introduces personality and diversity while remaining balanced and cohesive.
Design Approach
The design approach focused on clarity, symbolism and scalability. Visual elements were kept intentional and refined, allowing the concept of collaboration to come through without overcomplicating the design.
Typography was chosen to feel modern and accessible, supporting the brand mark and maintaining readability across all formats. The overall system was designed to be adaptable, ensuring longevity as the space grows.
Digital & Print Assets
A complete set of brand assets was developed to show how the identity translates into real-world applications. This included mockups for signage, business cards and interior branding, demonstrating how the brand lives within the physical co-working environment.
The result is a consistent, recognisable brand that supports Common Room across all touchpoints, while remaining flexible enough to evolve over time.
