Project Overview:

Paper & Pine is a thoughtfully crafted stationery brand rooted in simplicity, texture, and natural materials. The aim of the brand identity was to create a calm, timeless visual language that feels grounded and intentional, reflecting the tactile qualities of paper, wood, and handcrafted processes.

The identity was designed to feel refined yet understated, allowing the materials, details, and craftsmanship to speak for themselves.

Brand Elements:

The logo suite balances clean, minimal typography with subtle character, creating a sense of quiet confidence and craftsmanship. The colour palette draws from earthy, natural tones, soft neutrals, luxurious greens, and rich reds chosen to feel tactile and timeless.

Together, these elements form a cohesive brand identity that feels natural, considered, and versatile across applications.

Design Approach:

The design direction focused on restraint and clarity, prioritising breathing space, simplicity, and consistency. Typography was chosen to balance warmth with structure, while layouts were kept minimal to reinforce the brand’s calm, crafted aesthetic.

Supporting brand elements such as icons, textures, and patterns were designed to be used subtly, enhancing the identity without overwhelming it.

Digital & Print Assets:

A complete brand toolkit was created to support Paper & Pine across both print and digital touchpoints. This included logo variations, a defined colour system, typography guidance, and supporting graphic assets, all brought together within comprehensive brand guidelines.

The system allows the brand to be applied confidently and consistently while remaining flexible for future growth.
